I am a reading and math tutor and I absolutely love these markers. I had a hard time with putting lids on the other markers because it seemed like I always got the marker's head in the process and that made the head of the marker write with two lines. When I saw these markers I couldn't wait to try them. They are my favorite but they are hard to find.

My son is always leaving the caps off his dry erase markers so I gave these a try. The blue and black were great, although the red is a little watery looking. He has trouble "opening" them but you just push a button to retract them and that part is easy.

I bought these markers because they were on the "school supplies" list! They are retractable so no cap to worry about losing and markers drying up! My daughter thought that was really Awesome "retractable,...cool"! They are low odor so that is cool too. It is difficult to find the FINE tip that school require, so I got the low odor, retractable, black required AND FINE TIP- So I am pleased.

I like the style and tactile feel of these markers. No cap to drop or lose. Feels more adult than the standard Expo markers.
Might dry out slightly quicker (or more easily from neglect) than the sealed markers with cap but they're cheap enough to just replace whenever you need to.

I use my white board daily and these markers are just not bold enough to see more than 6 inches away from the board. The company's customer service department was excellent in responding to my complaint. I don't think I got a "faulty set", I believe that the markers just aren't dark enough for my use.

I did not receive the markers I ordered! I ordered the Boone markers pictured, but received Quartet markers- much lower quality; very faint ; impossible to see from across the room (actually nearly impossible to see when you're nearby). I'm very disappointed as I really like my old set of Boone markers. I was trying to replace them as the orange marker is finally dying. Don't waste your money on these!

I bought these markers to go with my Board Dudes 11 x 14-Inch Plastic Framed Magnetic Calendar (12032UA-4). I wanted different colors so I could tell at a glance what day bills were due, I had appointments or meetings and such. My only (minor) complaint is they are called fine point but still fill up the squares on the calendar, it would be nice if someone made a super/ultra-fine tip. Easy to clean and low odor, these are a must-have accessory for anyone using a dry erase calendar to keep the household organized.

Summary: The board is great, the accessories are not.
I've had this board for a year or so now, we use it daily to keep track of groceries shopping. There was no mounting option, which I just solved with some tape, a piece of cardboard and couple thumbtacks.
The eraser that comes with the board is ridiculously tiny. A soft paper towel does a better job at wiping the board. The markers that come with the board where also of poor quality and left marks when trying to erase them. Just get better markers and it will be fine.
The board erases easily and with no residue, no "ghosting", if you use good quality markers.
Bottom line: consider getting Board Dudes 11 x 14-Inch Metalix Magnetic Dry Erase Board, Colors May Vary (45000UA-4) instead which seem to be the same board without the accessories.

I bought this Dry Erase board because of the extras included. The board has mounted easily with the mounting pieces included. My only problem was that the magnetic eraser wasn't really magnetic, so I added a stick on magnet to the back of the eraser, problem fixed! The eraser cleanly removes the notes on the board. I see no residue left at all.
Looks very nice mounted on the front of my fridge ready for listing grocery items I need as I think of them.
My friend liked it so much that I've ordered her one for her Birthday next month. I know she's going to love it as much as I love mine.
I don't think you can go wrong with this really nice white board. Large enough to jot things down as you think of them, small enough to fit nicely on the fridge door.

I was so excited to get these markers thinking they would be a finer/smaller version of the regular chiseled expo markers....BOY WAS I WRONG! The ink is extremely "watery". It is very similar if one would use a regular marker on say a plastic bag (the ink separates into blobs). Not only that, but, the purple, green, and orange versions do not show up well on a white dry erase board OR glass and do the same thing. Maybe this package was a fluke, but I've seen other reviews similar to my experience so I will be returning these for a refund. I loved the click design and, again, am very let down.
